Rules of scientific articles funneling, review and publication in theoretical and analytical journal «Logistics and Supply Chain Management”
Our publishing house reviews all incoming materials, which are corresponding to its subject, with the object of expert assessment. All reviewers are acknowledged experts in the reviewed contribution field and have published several articles on this topic during last 3 years. Reviews remain deposited in our publishing house and editorial department within 5 years.
Our editorial department forwards review copies of submittal and substantiated refusal to authors. Moreover, we are obliged to send review copies to Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation if there is a corresponding request in our editorial department.
Articles consideration and publication procedure in the scientific and analytical journal “Logistic and Supply Chain Management”
Stage #1. Manuscript preliminary assessment
The article assessment is brought into action in the context of:
- Compatibility with the remit of the journal.
- Novelty and originality: the investigation results which are presented in the manuscript should not be published in other issue (periodical and non-periodical, scientific or educational edition) and in the Internet. Citation rules violation (plagiarism and paraphrase) and self citation are understood as sufficient basis for the refusal of the manuscript publication.
- Compliance with the requirements of the manuscript layout (for more details see in the section “Requirements for the manuscripts layout”).
- The completeness of provided information.
The author should provide the following materials to the editorial staff complementary to the manuscript:
- The article card;
- The photograph of the author(s): it should be colored portrait with the size which is not less than 500 KB;
- The abstract (for more details see in the section “Requirements to the articles’ abstracts”).
As the result of preliminary assessment, the article can be rejected or recommended to correct identified shortcomings. In this case the author (authors) receives the letter with substantiated reasonable refusal and/or recommendations which can help to improve the manuscript.
Stage #2. Manuscript reviewing
After passing Stage #1 the manuscript is sent to at least 2 experts, who are the members of scientific and editorial board. Additionally, the editors office reserves the right to engage reviewers, who are not the members of scientific and editorial board but appear to be acknowledged experts in the investigation field declared by author(s). Reviewing is carried out anonymously: the information about authors is not reported to the reviewers in order to provide the manuscript assessment objectivity.
Based on the expert review and the content of the manuscript the scientific editor of our journal makes the final decision regarding the publication. The article can be rejected or recommended to correct identified shortcomings. In this case the author (authors) receives the letter with substantiated reasonable refusal and/or recommendations which can help to improve the manuscript.
Reviews remain deposited in our publishing house and editorial department within 5 years from the date of the manuscript submission by the authors.
Stage #3. Order and duration establishment of the manuscript publication
In case of positive decision-making the author (authors) will receive information about duration guideline of the manuscript publication. It depends on the journal release frequency (6 times a year) and editorial calendar.
Stage #4. Check of the articles’ layout
The coordination of the final article layout with the author(s) is the required step. The author assumes the responsibility for the article content when he or she confirms its layout accuracy. The coordination period is 3 days from the sent date of the article by an e-mail address which is indicated in the article card. If the coordination period is disturbed, the author’s pretensions concerning the article layout are not considered.
