CATEGORY Analysis in logistics and SCM Supply chain planning Supply chain management
ABSTRACT
The article looks at the main aspects of supply chain strategic planning in the context of designing, reengineering and optimization of its network structure. The article reveals actuality of supply chain configuration and redesign, and its influence on economic results of the chain agents. It is shown that nowadays network design is based on a fairly well tested technology, methods and IT-support that were put to test in real practice of leading companies. The key issues subject to solving during design process are considered; recommendations on efficiency assessment in volatile market environment are given.
The article provides examples of strategic demands differentiation, benchmarks and reference models when determining parameters of basic supply chain configuration and redesign.
The article structures the sequence of planning and design stages of an optimal supply chain network structure based on strategic focus, prognosticated trends in supply chain management, implementation control, adequate organizational changes in a focus company and SCM structure; integrated information support.

ABSTRACT
In the environment of competitive market Supply Chain Management is important task for a business, and appropriate solution of these problem enables enterprises to win on the market by reducing cost and improving service level. Nevertheless, supply chain management requires appropriate approach to make balanced and reasonable decisions. Modelling in supply chain management can used as appropriate tool for enterprise to make optimal decisions for business, with accordance to effect on every stream of supply chain.
At the particular article we provide a broad review of business process development in supply chain management. We show physical, logical, and mathematical models based on the analysis of high-level business processes description: demand planning, capacity planning, and part of operational logistics budget with predicted changes and planned activities. This topic helps to solve actual problems of SCM, and is thus highly relevant for international and national companies. The purpose of this article is to provide complex review of researches on the topic of business processes development, to structure the drivers, impediments, and facilitators supported by an extensive bibliography.
We can conclude that use modelling principles by enterprises of various scale, is powerful tool to predict results of decisions and to identify bottlenecks and gaps in supply chain.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to focus on theoretical and methodological aspects of horizontal cooperation in transportation. The relevance of the study is related to the search of additional sources for cost reduction in today's Russian economy, characterized by declining GDP and high inflation. Raw materials price rise, on the one hand, and the decline in real incomes, on the other, poses a problem of efficiency increase to the producers. According to the author, one of the most promising methods to reduce logistics costs in the current economic environment is horizontal cooperation. The paper proposes a simplified scheme of the feasibility evaluation of horizontal cooperation in transportation at the design stage.Based on modeling in Mathcad the author analyzes the feasibility of cooperation for each participant. The article also proposes a scheme, which is one of the possible variants of participants interaction in terms of horizontal cooperation. In concluding, the author suggests further development of the proposed methods of evaluating the feasibility of horizontal cooperation in transportation and the scheme of interaction of all participants.

ABSTRACT
The prospects for building an efficient logistics infrastructure at the transport hub (TH). It is shown that this subject is one of the priorities of the implementation of the "Transport Strategy of Russia for the period up to 2030 ." proposed methodology and organizational and methodological approaches to the modeling of competitive options TH logistics infrastructure . It is proved that under conditions of high uncertainty of the environment, determine the behavior of the logistic system specifications, the best approach is to use the tools of system dynamics modeling and simulation.
